Jerry O'Neill was a Federal prosecutor in Burlington from 1973 until 1981. During this time, he tried dozens of criminal cases before Vermont jurors.

Since 1981, Mr. O'Neill has been in private practice in Burlington, concentrating on representing injured people in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1991. He is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist.

Mr. O'Neill frequently teaches continuing legal education courses to other lawyers in Vermont on subjects relating to trial techniques, personal injury, and wrongful death. He is chair of the Burlington Police Commission. He lives in Burlington.
