Michael Green began his legal career in Burlington defending personal injury claims. In 1988, he joined Jerry O’Neill as a founding partner of today’s O’Neill Kellner & Green.

Michael has been representing injured Vermonters for more than 20 years in a wide range of liability cases, including motor vehicle collisions, injuries from unsafe premises and defective products, and workers’ compensation claims. He has a particular interest in Uninsured Motorist law. Michael has testified about this area of law before the Vermont Legislature and regularly teaches seminars to other Vermont lawyers about it. His work has earned him listings in both Best Lawyers in America and New England Super Lawyers.

Michael’s community involvement includes serving as the chair of the Burlington School Board for five years. He is currently a director of the United Way of Chittenden County. He lives in Burlington with his wife and three children. He enjoys backcountry and telemark skiing, hiking, and is a fan of international and youth soccer.
