John F. Evers - Attorney

John Evers graduated from Amherst College in 1981 and Boston College School of Law in 1984. From 1984 to 2005, he practiced with the law firm of Langrock Sperry & Wool.

John has tried many cases to verdict, and is listed in "Best Lawyers in America" for both Plaintiff's Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation. He frequently presents at seminars on trial evidence and techniques, jury selection, Daubert issues and insurance bad faith. He is a past President of the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association and serves on its Board of Governors. Since 1993, he has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. John serves as the Vermont Bar Association's representative to the Vermont Legislature's Medical Malpractice Study Committee. He is an adjunct faculty member at Vermont Law School, where he teaches trial advocacy. He serves on the Town of New Haven's Zoning Board and Panning Commission and is Chair of the Addison County Home Health and Hospice Board.
